Can a cat has psychic/clairvoyant power ?

Reported by Reuters (26/7/07), there was this Oscar the Cat whenever it visits residents of the Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Providence, Rhode Island, the staff will jump into action. This is because “Oscar can sense within hours when someone is about to die.”

Oscar, in his two years living in Steere’s end-stage dementia unit, Oscar has been at the bedside of more than 25 residents shortly before they died, according to Dr. David Dosa of Brown University in Providence. Dr Dosa wrote about Oscar in the New England Journal of Medicine.

It is noted that whenever a patient is dying, the cat always does manage to make an appearance, and it always seems to be in the last two hours.”

On a particular day detailed by Dr. Dosa, Oscar settled onto the bed of a patient in room 313, his presence sent staff off to make calls and set up vigil.

When a grandson asked why the cat was there, his mother explained: “He is here to help Grandma get to heaven,” according to Dosa’s account. She died a half an hour later.

Century 3, Quatrain 32:

Le grand sepulchre du peuple Aquitanique,

S’approchera aupres de la Toscane:

Quand Mars sera pres du coing Germanique,

Et au terroir de la gent Mantuane. 

The huge sepulchre of the French people will approach from near to Italy, when war is near the German corner and in the territory of the Italian people.

This was a war in which Italy and Germany inflicted heavy losses on the Frenchmen- a clear indication of the Second World War. Mussolini of Italy and Hitler of Germany joined together against the Allies.

Century 2, Quatrain 1:

Vers Acquitaine pars insuls Britaniques

 De pars eux mesmes grands incursions

Port Selin fortes fera invasions 

Towards Aquitaine by British assaults, by them also great incursions. Rains and frost make the terrain unsafe. Against Port Selin they will make strong invasions.

Nostradamus’ prediction of the First World War period when France and Britain were deadlocked on the Western Front. The Allies under Winston Churchill were persuaded to attack Dardanelles in order to reach Constantinople ( Port Selin). The troops had to suffer dreadful weather, which was a cause for the failure of the plan

In Nostradamus’s Century 10, Quatrain 26, he predicted the assasination of Robert Kennedy:

Le successeur vengera son beau frere,

Occupera regne souz umbre de vengeance,

Occis ostacle son sang mort vitupere,

Long temps Bretaigne tiendraavec la France.

[ The successor will avenge his handsome brother and occupy the realm under the shadow of vengeance, he killed the obstacle of the blameworthy dead; for a long time Britain will hold France]

Being intepreted:this quantrain predicts the assassination of Robert Kennedy, just as his handsome brother, John F Kennedy died, both within a short span of time. His stand for his brother’s causedid him no good.The last line are predictions of events to come.

In the Century 1, Quartrain 57, predicted by Nostradamus:

Avant Conflict le grand tombera,

Le grand a mort, mort, trop subite & plainte,

 Nay imparfaict: la plus part nagera,

 Aupres du fleuve de sang la terre tainte

[ Before the battle the great man will fall, the great one to death, death too sudden and lamented. Born imperfect, it will  go the greater part of the way; near the river of blood the ground is stained.]

Being interpreted: John F Kennedy had a great deal of charisma. He was born with chest problems, but that hardly affected his administrative efforts. He violently opposed Khrushchev’s attempt to set up missile bases in Cuba and was successful in containing their efforts. But soon after, he was killed at Dallas, in 1963

Recently reported in the Star that a monk, Khenpo Yeshe (45year old) is now teaching a small boy who reincarnated from his own late master, the revered Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche,a great Tibetan spiritual master.
Basics:

• Khenpo Yeshe was 23 when he came under the tutelage of his late master who is a very revered great Tibetan spiritual master Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche (75 years old).
• In 1991, Khyentse passed away at the age of 81. He was one of the greatest luminaries of the last century and his many students included members of the royal family of Bhutan.
• A decade later, in 2001, Khenpo was entrusted with the task of teaching the reincarnation of Khyentse, who is now 14 years old.

  
About the boy who is reincarnated from the great master, Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche:

• Those who knew Khyentse noticed striking similarities in behaviour
• When receiving guests, the young Khyentse has a peculiar way of placing his hand on people’s head to bless them. With those close to him, he would put his hand around them and pull them close, as if in a hug. He would then lay his head on their head. No one had told the young boy how to do that.
• The way he sits is just like the previous Khyentse,
• The young boy also loves to play with plastic toy animals like Khyentse
• Like the previous Khyentse, the young Khyentse is very hospitable towards visitors.
• He shows great concern for the poor and those who are suffering.
• An interesting story narrated about the young boy:  “The previous Khyentse had a very close student and attendant for over 14 years – Matthieu Ricard. When the young Khyentse was a year- and-a-half, his father, Choklim Rinpoche, introduced him to one of his students and the boy looked at him. As soon as the student left, he told his father: ‘That wasn’t Matthieu.’ It was as if he was waiting for Matthieu to come back and take care of him.” 
• The young Khyentse shows a maturity beyond his years. He speaks, thinks and acts like an elderly person,
  

Append below the Interesting physic/clairvoyant story of how the young boy was discovered as the reincarnation of Khyentse Rinpoche:

• After Khyentse Rinpoche’s death, all his students, including the Dalai Lama (the spiritual and temporal leader of Tibet), turned to Khyentse’s most accomplished disciple, Trulshik Rinpoche (72 years old), to identify his “unmistakable reincarnation”.
• “One day, Trulshik had a vision of our (Khyentse’s) monastery in Nepal – Shechen Tennyi Dhargye Ling – with eight stupas (usually white) which represent Buddha’s enlightened mind. One of them was bigger than the rest and was brilliant red,” says Khenpo.  “He thought it was a beautiful stupa. Then the rest of the stupas dissolved into this red stupa. And the red stupa moved over to a little monastery called Ka-Nying Shedrup Ling, east of our monastery.”  Trulshik thought it was sad that this stupa had left Khyentse’s monastery and had moved to another. Perhaps it was an ill omen for the monastery. As he pondered, he looked at the Shechen monastery and it had become even more resplendent and beautiful than before. Next he saw a parrot in a room and it spoke. When that vision vanished, Trulshik could not remember the words.
• A couple of days later, he had a vision of Khyentse and the words of the parrot came to his mind. He wrote them down. The meaning of the four-line poem was cryptic.
• “There was mention of Shechen monastery and to the east of that, born to the father Mingyur Dewai Dorje and the mother, Dechen Paldron, is the unmistaken reincarnation of Khyentse,” relates Khenpo.  “Now, everybody knew the father of the reincarnation of Khyentse as Chokling Rinpoche, and not by his childhood name. Yet, the childhood name appeared in Trulshik’s vision. He wrote down what he saw in his vision and in April 1995, sent it to the head of Shechen monastery, Rabjam Rinpoche. Rabjam is the grandson of the previous Khyentse Rinpoche.  “When the news broke, Chokling Rinpoche and his wife were delighted to entrust their son to the monastery,” says Khenpo.
• On Dec 28, 1995, Trulshik, met the two-and-a-half-year-old child, who was recognised as the reincarnation of Khyentse.
• Trulshik offered him a long white ceremonial scarf and the child, as if perfectly versed in this traditional greeting, placed it around Trulshik’s neck. 

As the wheel of destiny turns, Khenpo (45 years old) who is previously the student, now is the teacher who is now tutoring this young Khyentse who is his reincarnated master/teacher.

As mentioned in earlier article, Nostradamus is perhaps the most famous secular prophet of all time. He wrote 942 separate predictions which showed a lot of accuracies.

Some examples are:
Prophecy No 1:

His prediction on the GREAT FIRE OF LONDON OF 1666

“The blood of the just will be spilled at London/Burned by the fire of twenty three the sixes/The ancient lady will topple from a high place/Many of the same sect will be killed”

Prophecy No.2:
“The young lion will overcome the old/On the field of battle in single combat/He will put out his eyes in a golden cage/Two wounds one, then to die a cruel death.

- Nostradamus was actually referring to 1559 where the French king Henry II took part in a tournament staged to celebrate two royal weddings. His young opponent’s lance accidentally penetrated the monarh’s visor -the”golden cage” of the prophecy-piercing him behing the eye. The King died in great pain a week later.

Prophecy No.3:

“The fortress near the Thames will fall/When the king is locked inside/He will be seen in his shirt near the bridge/One facing death, then locked inside the fort

- Nostradamus was accurately predicted the execution of Charles I of England famously beheaded in his shirt-sleeves.

Prophecy No 4:

Nostradamus predicted the French Revolution:

“He who will come to the throne on the death of the great monarch/Willlead an illicit and sensual life/Through insouciance he will make concessions to everyone/So that finally the Salic law will be needed”- this verse applies neatly to the heir to the Sun King Louis XIV, Louis XV whose pleasure-loving and indecisive reign paved the way for the French Revolution

Prophecy No 5:

Nostradamus predicted the birth and decline of the British Empire. It reads:

“The great empire will be[created] by England/Omnipotent for more than 300 years/Great forces moving by land and sea/The Portuguese will not be happy.-Written at a time when England had no colonies and when Portuguese mariners had a clear lead in overseas exploration.The time span also fits well - the first successfuly British colonies were established in the early seventeeth century and most of those that remained were granted independence in the mid-twentieth century.

Prophecy No 6:

Nostradamus also predicted the RULE OF NAPOLEON.

” An Emperor will be born near Italy/Who will cost the Empire dear./People willsay when they see his supporters/That he has turned out not so much a prince as butcher.”

Prophecy No 7:

The END OF NAPOLEON’S CAREER is also predicted - ” The great empire will soon be transformed/Into a small place that will soon start to grow/A tiny place in a minute county/In the midst of which he will come to lay down his sceptre”

- pertaining to Napoleon’s exile, first to the island of Elba and then to St. Helena in the South Atlantic Ocean

Prophecy No.8:

” The kingdom taken the king will conspire/The lady taken to death sworn by lot:/Life to Queen soon will be denied/And the mistress at the fortress of the wife”

- pertaining to the French Revolution whereby after his fall, King Louis XVI was charged with conspiracy, and that the jurors who condemned his wife to death were, unusually chosen by lot. Taken captive, the queen’s soon, the Dauphin, disappeared, presumed dead. The final line is referring to Madame du Barry, mistress of the king’s father Louis XV who also lost her life.

Prophecy No.9:

“He will make his entrance, wicked, bad, ill-famed/Tyrannizing over Mesopotamia/All friends made of an adulterous spirit/The land horrible, black of aspect”

-Nostradamus prophecy sometimes interpreted as predicting SADDAM HUSSEIN’s role in the Gulf War.

Dreams interpretation can also be wrong and misleading.

The following examples in history of premonitory dreams that proved to be disastrously wrong.

Story No.1:

The Roman historian Valerius Maximus recordedthat Hannibal was encouraged to lead the troops of his native Carthage to invade Italy in 219BCE by an angelic figurethat appeared to him in his sleep. “Go!”the apparition told him. ” the fates are there to be accomplished” Hannibal went, but despite a brilliant campaign, failed to crush Rome. He ended up taking poison to avoid the humiliation of defeat and capture.

Story No.2

The fifth-century-BCE Persian emperor Xerxes was impelled by a figure that appeared to him in a dream to invade Greece against the advice of his generals. According to Herodotus, the apparition cameto Xerxes twice and then to his advisor Artabanus, bearing the same message. Yet the emperor’s forces suffered disastrous defeats at the battles of Salamis and Plataea and were driven out of Greece bring to an end Persian dreams of conquering the country.

Nostradamus is probably the most famous secular prophet of all time. He has a gift for prophecy. Let look at some of the following stories pertaining to his uncanny  prophecies /inexplicable foresight:

• In Italy, on one occasion, Nostradamus knelt down before a young monk who passed him in the street addressing him as “Your Holiness”. The young man was Felice Peretti, a one-time swineherd who became Pope Sixtus V in 1585, 19 years after Nostradamus’s death

• another more interesting prophecy story was when Nostradamus was a dinner guest, the host tried to disaprove his clairvoyant abilities by asking him to predict the fate of two pigs, one black and one white. Nostradamus replied that they would eat the black pig while a wolf would devour the white one. The host then gave a secret instructions to his cook to prepare the white pig for dinner and when the meal was served confronted Nostradamus with the edible evidence of his error.But Nostradamus stuck to his guns. Eventually the cook was summoned and confounded his employer by confessing that it was indeed the black pig that they had eaten; he had been preparing to cook the white one when a wolf cub that was being held on the estate had broken into the kitchen and made off with the white pig.

Do you know that before Abraham Lincoln’s death, three days before his assassination,the American president was very perturbed by a dream in which he foresaw his own death.

As recorded by his White House aide, Col Ward H.Lamon pertaining to this dream/prophecy:

“who is dead in the white house” I demanded of one of the soldiers.” “the president” was the soldier’s answer, “he was killed by an assassin”

After the third day of his dream, Abraham Lincoln was shot by John Wilkes Booth as he watched a play at Ford’s Theatre in Washington DC. The president died at 7.22 the following mornign.
